Truth In the shadows we compete against each other. Tripping over our morals, dissolving our values, dismissing virtue to get to the top. The top where misery loves company, for when we compete against each other we live in constant pressure, stress, insecurity, doubt, unworthiness. There’s a far better use of vanity that spirals up and turns within to use that surge of energy to be better than and directs it towards the self. To be better than the egos programs, limitations, doubts, fears, insecurities to become to best versions of ourselves. Is it easy? Nope! Is it worth it? I’d bet my life! You see the greatest gift we can give humanity is to become the best version of ourselves & that involves not looking out to see how others are doing it... It requires we look within and discover our unique way of living that inspires us, motivates us, creates success on our terms and no one else’s. Yes, it will take the death of the ego. And it doesn’t happen just once. As every layer of the self that is limited is shed to give space for the soul that is unlimited to shine through. This is mastery. This is majesty. This is why we are here. Not to compete against each other, To see who becomes the best. This quote seems fitting on a day like today. A holiday built on the foundation of deception, genocide and consumption. A full moon in Gemini, the sign of the cosmic trickster. . Coyote is the trickster god of the United States. He is adept at tricking us into seeing our true face...not necessarily our absolute true, loving nature, but the face we hide....the underbelly, the trueness of all of our nature, not just the good stuff. The coyote invites us into the fields to enjoy the flowers, only later do we realize it is full of thorns. . This is the energy our country has been built upon. . Now, the cosmic trickster illuminates the night in full bloom, pulling us forward to stare directly into the face of the foundations of things we built our lives on, the hunger we are desperately trying to feed through over eating, binge drinking, escaping through whatever our brand of addiction is or Black Friday shopping that leaves us feeling more empty and searching with our long gratitude lists, sage bundle and crystals in hand. . There is a deep, aching hunger in our human hearts through this wound of separation that we’ve tricked ourselves into believing is how life is, while creating a world that perpetuates the very thing we crave freedom from. . What is it we are truly craving? Satisfaction, fulfillment, connection, love, comfort in our own skins...thriving in the enoughness of what this life truly is. . This day isn’t happy and holy for everyone. While all were created equal, let us not be deluded to think we are all having an equal experience of this day. Some are alone. Some are hungry. Some are very ill. For some this day is the first day without a loved one or many loved ones. This day means different things to different people, let us not being tricked into painting a picture of our holidays and sellling that to people, furthering the lines of polarity and separation. .
