One of my favourite buildings in the North East, but never had the chance to go in since it's been renovated. Can you believe this actually use to housed an amusement arcade and later a Laser QuestLaser Tag arena? I spent many hours trying to get the high score of Big Birtha, (not a euphemism). The Dome has been renovated to its former glory and houses lovely leisure facilities including a champagne bar, tea rooms, restaurants and much more. Now where did I put my metro ticket.

Perhaps the most recognised & popular landmark in Newcastle Upon Tyne, the Tyne Bridge straddles the river Tyne linking Gateshead & Newcastle. This is one of my favourite spots in Newcastle. If you have time to walk along the river past all seven bridges, totally do so.

Throwing it back to last Saturday when I finally ventured to @aidanskitchencl to try their brunch menu. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As someone who spends most weekends eating brunch, I take it very seriously. But I can honestly vouch that my meal - the hash bowl with eggs benedict - is by far the best breakfast I've ever had. What do you mean, we've got to go back, because you've left the lights on.... hehe. St Mary's Lighthouse is on the tiny St Mary's Island, just north of Whitley Bay on the coast. Climb the 137 steps to the top of the lighthouse for the most spectacular views of the north east coast of England.

All pizza may be good but no where makes it as good as @scream_for_pizza. I went for the blue shroom and the boy got a margherita with some anchovies. If you do go, make sure to pick up the rosemary chips, too! Out of pure seflnessness (greed), I tried @kilnouseburn's new specials menu so you don't have to. Although you should as it's bloody heavenly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I opted for the Mediterranean Brunch Bowl - full of courgette and pea fritters, tatties, halloumi, vine tomatoes, garlic mushrooms, asparagus, egg and thyme.
