People associate the colour Blue with the ocean or the sky. Since I love summer and I love the sea, the inspiration of the cocktail came from when I was younger. I always went swimming with my family, we would always blow bubbles underwater. When we blow the air bubbles in the water, you can see them floating up, which was really fun. Therefore, I would liked to create a drink that’s an easy, summer, sparkling drink. “Bulubulubulu”
40ml of Plantation 3 Star infused coconut
20ml of Giffard blue curacao liquor
10ml of Giffard coconut syrup
40ml of Coconut water
15ml of lime juice
Top up 20ml of prosecco -Put all the ingredients(except prosecco) into shaker, and shake with ice
-Double strain into the glass
-Top up prosecco and add “bulubulu” #TeamOhana @ohanahk
Garnished with “bulubulu”. It’s made with giffard mango syrup and blue curacao liquor, then rimmed the glass with candied chocolate.

Aquamarine, a color full of warmth and courage. In my memory, my mom used to take me to the lake and we sketched together, the color of the lake was aquamarine, thus, every time I see this color, it reminds me of my mom with all sweet memories.
I decided to make this cocktail into color aquamarine due to spread the warmth and courages which my mom always gives to me.Lastly, I really appreciate the supports given by my friends, and big thanks to Giffard for the opportunity to participate this competition.

This cocktail was made in memory of my dear friend, whom unfortunately lost her battle with depression a month ago.
I have chosen blue as the base colour of this cocktail and added dried baby’s breath as decoration, sitting on the rims of the glass.
Being a Christian myself i have constructed this cocktail in reference of my belief. The horizontally placed baby’s breath is reference to flower bouquets to commemorate her, the blue base symbolise a clear sky, and blessings from above.
The alcohol content of this cocktail is very low on purpose due to her preference in drinks. I use honey as the sweetener for this beverage, some light sparking water for the texture and a dash of wine on top for decoration.
Honey has been chosen in hope that she will have a sweet life in heaven, sparking water to reference her favourite drink which is Coca-Cola and finally a dash of red wine on top to reference the Holy Bible, which symbolises Christ blood in hope to bring her blessing and relief her of all pain and suffering.
Lastly I would like to shed some light on the colour blue, which is the colour of depression. I would like reinforce the importance of caring for those around you, especially those suffering from depression, and never underestimate the severity of mental illness. -

@giffardasia For me, i will compare myself as a diligent bee and Giffard liqueur to the bee hive. During work, there never seems to be a time that i would miss out using this liqueur. Like the busy bees always twirling around its own hive producing honey, I am always up for challenge even if i am not familiar with this field. Doing multiple trial and error, making all kind of cocktails, made me fell in love with Giffard.
During the honey harvesting trip, also allow me to gain more knowledge about two types of fruits, pineapple and star fruit. At first, the spikes on the pineapple make me feel a little reluctant to try but the fragrance when its cut attracted me, making me realised how much i have miss of its sweetness. As for star fruit, it has its own unique fragrance and sweet sour taste making me feel amuse by its beauty.
This cocktail, on the first sip,after shaking I am able to taste the richness of both star fruit and pineapple after its being fermented and process. And the following sips allow me to taste and smell elderberry as well as the sweet refreshing honey. Last but not least, Hayman’Dry Gin and"blue curacao" give a complicated yet smoothing mouthfeel and a romantic sea blue aesthetic.

Color of memories-
It is my honor and privilege to be able to use color blue as my Theme this time.To me blue is not just a color it reminds me of my home from the trees to the grass Also the vivid smell of Pandan leaves . Coming from a hakka family my mother used pandan leaves in our every day diet As time went by the smell was slowly engraved into my Memories as well as the Hokka culture was engraved into my life. To this day I can still remember that hot summers night my mother used to this kind of seasoning in one of her amazing dishesDue to the hot weather and my lack of appetite. The pandan leaf is quite a rare Flavor to be used in a cocktail recipes but I would like to present this unique flavorAs well as presenting my hokka culture to my Guests in honor of my Precious childhood memories and the mother that I cherish blue my mind.

Blue reminds me the family trip I had under the Japan sunshine during summer. We went to a vineyard and experienced grape picking. Resting under the vines, enjoying the Grape that we have picked for hours, and toasting with Ramune. These pure happiness has delighted our journey. It felt like we were blessed under the bright blue sky and warm grapey breeze.

-Muddle white grapes -Add ingredients into shaker & shake
