By far one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been too! And it’s not easy to get too! The drive alone up through the mountains in north Bali were pretty sketchy, and I don’t recommend you try it on a motorbike, hire a driver if you can! - Once you get there, there is an entrance fee for all 7 waterfalls that’s about 8 USD with a guide if you chose to use one. Getting down the falls is also pretty sketchy with super steep stairs and broken handrails. Once you get down to the falls you also end up about waist high deep in water in order to get to certain spots . - Is it worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from Ubud, along with the gnarly hike, and getting filthy dirty? ABSOLUTELY!! It’s absolute paradise down there! And there were maybe 4 other people down there so it really felt like you were in the garden of Eden. If you’re not in good shape or have a hard time with steep stairs, I don’t recommend this hike for you but there are spots you can see the falls without gong all the way down. I have so many pics and videos from here, I don’t even know where to start, so here are a few if you swipe! I’ll post pics of the other falls on the same hike another time but this one is the grand daddy of them all. Some say it’s the most beautiful one in all of Bali
