I simply boiled 1.5 litres of water, peeled the ginger and sliced it thinly (I used quite a lot as I prefer the stronger taste), added the ginger and allowed to boil for 15-20 minutes. I squeezed in some fresh lime then enjoyed this energising tea!✨ .

2 to 3 tablespoons fresh ginger
1 lemon, sliced
4 cups of hot water
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Step 1: Prep Ingredients
Heat water in a kettle. While water is on the boil, grate fresh ginger root and put into a tea infuser (like this one). Cut a slice of fresh lemon and place into your mug.
Step 2: Steep

It’s time to make another batch of honey, lemon, and ginger tea! This amazing elixir helps with colds, coughs, and sore throats. Just wash and slice a few organic lemons and peel and slice a large knob of ginger. Layer them in a jar or glass container. Fill the jar with local raw honey and seal the lid. To drink add a scoop of honey with some lemon and ginger to a mug and fill with hot water. Store the jar in the refrigerator for up to 8 weeks.
