Long post alert: If you make it all the way to the end, drop me a comment so I can appreciate you ❤️ I guess I’ll give the bad news first- Wrapped up this event in Louisiana a little earlier than planned, a pair of 79’s just isn’t going to get the job done. Ball striking and tee shots just aren’t where they need to be, so I’ve decided to take some time and get back on track before my next event on May 6th. Unfortunately, that means I won’t be playing in the LPGA Open Qualifier that I’ve been prepping for since the Mediheal event last year. I want to make sure my game is in good shape before I get back on the tournament grind, and it’s frustrating to compete when so many things feel uncomfortable/off in my swing. Knowing your game is part of the job, but canceling this qualifier is disappointing to say the least. The good news is, I’m healthy and I’m ready to work hard for the next 2 weeks to get ready for U.S. Open Qualifying on May 6th, at Marin CC. Heading back home now to meet up with @performancegolfacademy and get things back in formation before my next series. Thank you to everyone who sent me sweet messages this week and for reading my paragraph-long life updates! The grind continues! ️♀️
Not sure if you guys have seen my stories using these bad boys- but they are seriously saving my life after spending 4 weeks in a row on the road.
Basically, I stick these pods wherever I have muscle pain (for me it’s lower back when I spend a lot of time in the car- E.G. driving from Louisiana to San Francisco!? ) You can think of them as teeny massagers that deliver electronic pulses to your muscles. They help wake up my stiff muscles on the range and also to calm them after a tough workout. Without them, I used to avoid going hard in the gym because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to swing the next day. No longer an issue! If you are one that struggles with tight or sore muscles, or you need help waking up your glutes before the round, you should give @playmakar a try!
