Our approach to donuts (doughnuts if you’re fancy), is “less is more.” This can be applied toward anything with food. Our most popular donuts, by far, are the classic glazed and the cinnamon sugar. It seems like a lot of “doughnut” places forget that the most important part of the word is “dough.” Our dough is what makes our donuts truly special. We don’t try to hide our dough by piling a bunch of stuff on them. There are hundreds of places out there that can give you an ok donut with sugary cereal on it, but nothing out there will taste like our brioche dough. It’s made with fresh yeast, 83% butterfat European style butter, and unbleached King Arthur flour. Topped with perfectly balanced, homemade seasonal fruit toppings. They’re baaaaaaack... #appleciderdonuts - we found a recipe in a 100 year old cook book called “Grandma’s Apple Donuts”, and put some finishing Grindstone touches on it: Vietnamese cinnamon, organic unsweetened apple butter, organic buttermilk, and a homemade tart apple glaze to tie it all together. They’re warm, heavy, and taste like fall.
