One of the questions @natalieallport asked me during our podcast was, “what was the one thing you learned this past year”
#
For me this lesson was asking for help and realizing that I can’t take over the world alone
#
People don’t read minds, being vulnerable is super uncomfortable but only through uncertainty do we grow. Be comfortable with the uncomfortable
#
Thankful for those people in my life that responded well when I did have the courage to ask for help ❤️

I came to teach, I walked away taught! I’m not gonna lie, this was one of those unbelievable career moments that I’ve only ever dreamed of.
To fly to another country to speak about the power of brand to create meaningful relationships between people was incredibly fulfilling.
Learning about everything from levelling up Instagram to Goal Setting from a foundation of gratitude and much more from the other speakers was truly inspiring.
Thank you @crowelljim and @hardwickcarl for the invitation, and thank you to everyone who attended for the knowledge, laughs and fun shared! #OPEXmastermind #fitnessmeetscreativity
A successful artist once told me: "Build the brand and hype as much as possible... But DONT buy into your own hype!" With a TSUNAMI of Wannabes, 'fake it till you make it's, and ignorant people with giant festering egos - This is critical. -
Doesn't matter how good you are in something.
Doesn't matter how great I personally am in fitness marketing or business. .
The fact is you CAN NOT achieve unreal greatness if you go buying into your own hype, FAIL TO; See new opportunities or acknowledge real threats, adapt, innovate, and seek out others GREATER THAN YOU. -
March we broke $50,000 for the month and it wouldn't be possible without my team, mentors, or the extrodinary fitness professionals I work closely with.
Buying my own hype would not have taken me to $50k/m or the months ahead... Believing I can do everything myself. -
Simply put:
Stay grounded and don't hesistate to do the shit you know needs to be done.

The biggest shopping day of the year.
.
But it can feel hard to capitalize on this as a gym owner.
.
Understand the mindset of your customer.
.
People don’t want to buy fitness or start a new program now, it’s soon to be Christmas parties, dinners and indulgence.
.
But that doesn’t mean they won’t buy today if it’s framed the right way.
.
Answer the unspoken questions, make it easy for them to start today or in January, position yourself to speak directly to what they are thinking.
.
I gave my clients a great done for you marketing package, everything they need to create tonnes of qualified prospects for January or create cash to offset a down cash flow month in December.
.
Their commitment? 2 hours of prep time to execute.
.
Are you prepared?
Box Rx is the culmination of years of passion and hard work, brought to life by the larger than life @parisahayeri. Parisa and I used to work in the city, she an accountant, me a designer at an creative agency. We used to meet up for lunch and daydream about breaking out on our own. She wanted to run her own gym, I wanted to become a CrossFit coach or have a business designing for fitness brands. I did some soul searching and stuck with design as I believe I can serve people better through those skills and I'm so happy I did. It's been over 5 years since we had those lunches and we both did what we dreamed of.
Parisa wanted her gym to be a special place with a vibrant community that would be all about hard work and tons of fun. The branding had to tell that story, create that culture and allow it to flourish naturally. The approach was one of simplicity and felxibility, allowing the brand to evolve and change regularly without losing its integrity. We agreed that the brand would be simple, but the tone of voice and personality of the brand would be a mix of support, encouragement, humour and tough love. #fitnessmeetscreativity
