This is my new obsession. Eggs of various sizes (though I adore the ostrich size) made to resemble Imari and arranged on silver candlesticks. For a mantle, a brunch table centerpiece, a console table display- it’s endless what you could do. I’m really blown away that it is a very simple DIY from clever, clever blogger @mydearirene - achieved so easily - it’s decoupaged! Bananas how elegant they look. (I also have done a contemporary version of this idea with ostrich eggs dipped in highly metallic auto paint in various tones of silver, gold and bronze, placing them on different heights of simple wood candlesticks.) Her blog has tons of other ridiculously easy hacks and weekend projects - some of her easy storage projects are super fun. It isn’t highbrow, but not everything needs to be.
