Technology is such a powerful tool today! It would be unimaginable to actually quantify its impact on our everyday lives. Digital tabs, laptops, kindles, data storage drives and what nots! I’m looking forward to 2019, and it’s looking pretty G O L D E N , like my new fave pants!⠀ ⠀ As I sit here and plan my year, I am excited, nervous, and ready to do the work. This year, my word is L I F E. In the past I’ve chosen words like: intentional, enough, and authentic. The reason I am choosing the word LIFE, is because I want to remember that everything I do in my “work” is to support the LIFE I want to live. The goal is not to grow a business and make money so that I can work, work, work and continue to grow my business.⠀ ⠀ My goal is to create a career that allows me to live the best LIFE I can live. I want my relationships and experiences with the people I love to be the thing I look forward to most. I don’t want to be consumed with work. Or put it above the people I care about. That is why I made the scary decision to work for myself in the first place.⠀ ⠀ It’s not easy. The past few days have been such a whirlwind but I am so happy to be getting settled into our new home! Not sure how it is already October 1st (time flies!!) but I am so excited to start using my new agenda from @inkwellpress today. Anyone else a planner ‍♀️ Right now I use my phone to keep track of everything but in the past I’ve always written everything down because I’m a visual person and it helps me remember. While I’ll still use my phone to keep track of dates I’m really excited about starting this @inkwellpress planner next year!!
