Here’s a great tip on an easy way to clean sterling silver. 1. Line a cookie sheet, or bowl with aluminum foil (dull side up) 2. Lay your jewelry down 3. Liberally sprinkle with baking soda 4. Pour hot water over it 5. Watch as the tarnish moves off your silver and into the foil. 6. Rinse your clean jewelry. LAUNDRY it’s my arch enemy . I can’t keep up and there are only 3 of us... ya feel? ‍♀️ I’ve been trying something new and it’s much more manageable! Maybe it can help you too! • •• ••• Instead of doing loads and loads and drowning in clean laundry to put away, I do one load a day. Yep, that’s it, one load. 1️⃣ It is much more manageable and easier to put away right when it’s done. Larger families might have a harder time with this- I’d imagine I will have to do 2 loads a day in the future, but it’s working for now! I used to have a “laundry day” and tried to wash, fold, hand up and put away ALL the laundry in one day and it just became overwhelming. It’s hard for us busy women to spend an entire day dedicated to washing dirty clothes! Ain’t nobody got time for that • •• ••• In our home we sort dirty laundry into 3 “colors”- Whites, lights and darks! I’ve heard of people washing individual colors together, but I personally believe that is not necessary. Laundry shouldn’t bleed unless it is new. I also wash all towels together in their own load...How do you sort your laundry?
