Chamarel - île Maurice La terre des 7 couleurs de Chamarel est une clairière qui présente 7 variations de couleurs, oscillant entre l’ocre, le marron, le rouge et le violacé. Ce phénomène serait dû à la présence de cendres volcaniques contenant des oxydes minéraux de couleurs différentes mises à nu par l'érosion depuis des siècles. La particularité de cette terre, c'est qu'une fois mélangée, les couleurs finissent toujours pas se séparer. 4 months in Mexico . Over. It was an interesting journey. Not enough tacos , even if I did manage to have one every single day. I definitely learned a lot in this short time. Traveling around Mexico is way different than living in Mexico. Patience, whether you have it or not is something you quickly develop. Things don't happen quickly. "Mañana" (tomorrow in Spanish) is their laid back way of saying, we'll get to it when we get to it. So life slows down a bit there. So what do you do, you travel! We were often reminded as beautiful as the country is, it is very corrupt and the issues of safety are real. My goal was to visit the whole country. I quickly realized that was not possible without actually risking death. But I still managed to visit 90% of the places I wanted to. We did visit many places that most people said not to. Locals thought we were crazy. Nonetheless, many areas were left out because of conflict and safety issues. Sinaloa, as beautiful as it is, is still heavily occupied by the Sinaloan cartel and would just be dumb to visit. We did attempt to make it thru Chiapas but were stuck in a 3 day long road block and never made it. A real shame as Chiapas was the one area I've been dying to visit in Mexico all year. We ran into cartels, paramilitares, federalism, and the likes between them. But we decided that just avoiding them this time would be the smarter decision. On the bright side, this trip has opened me up to a lot of new experiences. Ones that just a year ago I would have never thought of or been a part of. And for that I am greatful. Especially to the one person I got to enjoy all these ups and downs with. That is why, more than anything I'm going to miss this girl more than I'm going to miss any country. I spent the last 6 months having to deal with the shenanigans and stress this girl was going thru but I wouldn't change it for the world. As she goes back to Europe and I spend the holidays with my family and friends in the States it's just a matter of time until we're out traveling again. I know no one has read this. Summer Holiday Sunsets

7 Years. It has taken me 7 years to view this beach waterfall. Crazy! The first time I knew I wanted to see Big Sur was when I was a sophomore in college during a camping trip. Now, I’m not going to lie, once I reached this bucket list location I was a little disappointed. It was 100% more touristy than what I was expecting. My dream was that it was this epic hike in a semi secluded location, while the reality was a very photographed area full of people. - I don’t know what I was expecting from this experience, but it left me feeling like I just lost 7 hours on the road for 10 minutes. I think what I learned from all of this hype within me is that life will definitely be disappointing, but I’m so, so glad I went and experienced it. The magic is not the picture, but the learning experience and the people who make it all worth while. That’s what was worth it to me. That’s why it will always be worth it. So bucket list checked, but even more so I’m thankful to have gotten to journey here.

I love how this session developed and how much it reminds of film. Sadly, it's not, but it is something I'm looking to forward to start learning and producing next year. Another thing I loved getting to do was create magic with @nikkiijoiner, the artist behind @cactisociety. Truly a great day with lots of cactus vibes which aallwwaayys makes me happy
