Today’s photo is another throwback photo, because my kitty Lizzie Bennet did not want to cooperate for photos this week, so I’m reusing this one instead. (Sorry!) Do you know who is the princess in our house Yep, it’s this kitty. We also have another cat, Mr. Darcy, and two dogs, Molly and Lucy. (And we may be getting a guinea pig soon too!) Do you have any pets Tell me all about them!

QOTD : how's your reading progress so far?
.
Mine is bad I am not in a reading slump thoo.. but I am focusing on my exams first. But how I miss Tane and the mysterious world from this book .
.
I am also currently reading They Called Me Wyatt, which has very very deep talk about life culture, prejudice, and basically almost about everything. It's quite heavy so I am putting that off too for now..
.
Hope your progress is much better than mine .

I’m pleased to announce the first book in my new series: The Chosen (Contender #1). Here’s the UK and Commonwealth cover!
Preorder on Amazon and all the usual places, including signed copies at Waterstones! Coming on June 4th.
Throughout history, people have vanished with no explanation. A group of teenagers are about to discover why.
Cade is settling into a new boarding school, contemplating his future, when he finds himself transported to another realm. He soon discovers their new world is populated with lost remnants from the past: prehistoric creatures, ancient relics, and stranger still — people. Overwhelmed by his new surroundings, Cade has little time to adjust, for soon he and his fellow classmates are forced to become contenders in a brutal game, controlled by mysterious overlords.
But who are these beings and why did they choose these teens? Cade must prepare for battle . . . because hiding is not an option.

My reading life has already become so much richer in the short time that I’ve been hanging out with all of you here on #bookstagram. I usually find myself never reading the same genre in a row. After I finish a historical fiction novel I’ll probably pick up a mystery or psychological thriller. After that I usually need a palette cleanse so I’ll read a fun romcom. Then I’m usually ready for a nonfiction or memoir. Most likely after I’m finished or almost finished with that I’ll crave a more contemporary fiction novel. There is never a shortage of variety here in the #bookstagramcommunity and I’m so grateful.
So what about you? What does your reading patterns look like? Can you describe your reading life in three words? Comment below! (Mine would be eclectic, purposeful, and fulfilling).

Today feels like our first proper Spring day of the season so to celebrate I went for a run in the park. A few years ago when I was really into exercising and looking after my health I used to go running every morning and evening. Taking my old running route this morning I felt like that person again and it made me happy. I miss taking my health seriously and I miss starting my day with a satisfying workout that's both good for my body and mental state. Now that the weather is warmer I want to get back to this routine, I want to be that person again. Do you ever think about starting a habit or activity you used to do years ago? I think I might possibly like the person I am today but I wish I was as active as the me from four years ago. She had so much energy, a clearer head, and a lot less anxiety attacks. I can't wait to end my day with my first evening run in years.
Warmer weather also means I get to enjoy endless hours at the park, by the water, and on coffee shop patios with a cup of coffee and a great reads. I spent nearly an hour reading on my favourite bench yesterday and I'm hoping to do it again today. Taking lunch or coffee breaks on a couch is nice and all but nothing beats enjoying a break outside among the trees and endless fresh air. Where do you like to take your breaks at? I'm hoping to finish I Am Watching by Emma Kavanagh today, it was slow in the beginning but now that the action has picked up I'm dying to find out how things end for Isla. What are you currently reading? Do you like Crime books? I'm fast becoming a massive fan of this genre.
Happy Tuesday lovelies, I hope you're having a great day #slowlivingforlife #onthetable #momentsofmine #culturetripbooks #currentlyreading
