These sugar flowers are super special. . .They are part of the bouquet I created for a wedding cake. . A few months ago, my Geneva flatmate told me that she was getting married with the guy she had met while we were flatmates. This heads back to almost 10 years ago! In the meanwhile, they have been living together and had two amazing and beautiful kids!. . So, Sarah & Carlos, asked me to make their wedding cake, all the way back in Switzerland, so I only thought about it 10 minutes and said YES! If other people could do it, so could I, right?. . So, last weekend, I took the cake deconstructed, first to Bilbao by car, then to Milan by plane, and then, to Ascona by car. . . I had to finish the cake at the house of one of my best friends from EHL (thank you Yanú ❤️) and then take it to the #isoladibrissago by boat. So we can say, that this cake has travelled a bit!! . .everything turned out well, and all the stress previous to the event were all gone by the time I saw the bride and groom on their wedding day, they are perfect for eachother, and I am so thankful for them to have trusted me in being part of one of their most important days . . .
