Doner and Gyros- this new restaurant is a great place to relish some healthy and fresh snacks like sandwiches, wraps, salads and a variety of other finger foods for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Paneer Doner - the taste was really good, though a bit dry. But they are coming up with multigrain bread, so this won't be an issue. Price- Rs. 179 Classic Falafel Wrap- this had a falafel, tomatoes, onions and cabbage filling and tasted great. The flavours were on point, and the wrap is customisable as well. This is a good option for the health concious people. Price- Rs.219 Fruit Smoothie- a great accompaniment to our meal. Lasagne at @welcomhoteljodhpur - layers of pasta sheets and vegetables served in tangy tomato sauce- a delightful dish! Try this for its basic taste, simple flavours and of course, the beautiful plating! We accompanied this with their Pizza. The taste was great, and they offer customisable toppings so you can mix and match all your favourites. For drinks we had Virgin Sangria and Mango Shake both of which were amazing. The mango shake was absolutely drool-worthy and the virgin sangira too was a yummy mocktail of tangy juices like orange and grapes, with bits of fruits added in it to give it a beautiful texture! Feasting to our hearts content at @vijay_restaurant ,near Achalnath temple, inside old city- nestled in the throbbing streets of Katla Bazaar, this place is very famous for authentic and pure desi Jodhpuri food. We tried an assortment of their specialities. Masala Papad- a crispy starter, spread generously with a little too much ghee and topped with tomatoes and onions. Price- Rs. 30 Kaju Curry and Malai Kofta- very unique curries in tangy curd gravy, oodles of desi ghee, light masalas and pure, desi Rajasthani flavours. Price- Rs. 90 and Rs. 80 ( half plate) Dal fry- piping hot moong dal, tempered with ghee, garlic and red chilli. Price- Rs. 140 (full plate) Lachha Paratha- crisp outside, soft inside and oh so good! Price- Rs. 60 Aloo Paratha- this had a very mildly spicy potato and onion filling and was served with garlic chutney. We recommend you to try it with curd or chaas, else it tastes very bland and dry. it wasn't as great as expected. Dinner with a view at Cafe B, Ota, near Gulabsagar- a wonderful experience at this rooftop cafe with a stunning view of the Mehrangarh fort and the Gulabsagar Lake ! Add to this their pleasing aesthetics, the cool breeze and some great music- and you will surely have an evening to remember! We had their Dal Makhani with Lachha Paratha and Tawa Roti. The dal was well cooked and infused with good flavours. Apart from this they have a variety of other options too in both Indian as well as International cuisine! Price- Rs. 239 ( Dal Makhani) Do make a prior confirmation about their tandoor preparations as we were not able to enjoy those.
