Italy, you are beautiful! Fun fact, I lived in Rome for almost 5 months when I was 18 and didn’t love it. There were great aspect of the adventure, but overall it was a very unhappy time in my life. Perhaps proof that you can be living what seems like a perfect life, but that there can be so much more going on below the surface. ⁣ ⁣ Because of my less than perfect experience in Italy back in 2011, I’ve made it a goal of mine to continue revisiting Italy and rewriting the negative experience that I once that there. «С милым рай и в шалаше» - чули такий вислів Я не лише чула, а й відчула. ⠀ Дві ночі ми спали в палатці ⛺️... Цікавий досвід. Останній раз ночувала так, коли мені було 18 Правла, тоді це було весело, прикольно і цікаво. Зараз я незадоволена бурчала тиждень до цієї ночівлі бо: ⠀ “Як я там буду спати?“ “Якщо змія? Звірі? Комарі? Лісові духи?“ ”Як дійти вночі до туалету і не померти з страху?“ ⠀ ...ну і ще 100500 незадоволень вислухав Тарас при підготовці до поїздки. ⠀ Але як то кажуть в житті треба все попробувати) особливо на острові, де немає жодного готелю. Тому дві ночі ми провели в кемпінгу . Було трохи страшно, але так втомлювались за день, що спали, як вбиті поки Джесі в 8 ранку не почала рити підкоп на волю. Мали надувні матраци + спальники. М‘яко і тепло. Комірі зжерли мене всю на пляжі ввечері, в палатку вже вирішили не летіти. ⠀ Довсід цікавий. Більше не хочу Поки що. Ще обіцяла Тарасу погодитись на тур в “будиночку на колесах“ але на наступний рік) і не в Швеції, а десь на березі океану. ⠀ Ви як відноситесь до кемпінгу? Практикуєте?) ⠀ P.s. я знаю, що українською правильно намет, але звикла до слова “палатка“

House goals or what?! *** Pena Palace is one of these fairytale places that you dont think exist in real life This colourful castle with its vividly painted terraces and tiled exteriors is now one of the most recognisable tourist attractions in Portugal. The palace is located in the small town of Sintra, just an hour away from Lisbon, and can be reached by bus from Sintra’s train station. Make sure you arrive there as early as possible as this place is gets VERY crowded! (We got the 8.00am train from Lisbon to Sintra and were at the palace around 09.30 and it was already busy! By the time we left all you could see is a sea of people on the terraces ) TIP for the ladies: it’s very windy up there! Keep that in mind when deciding what to wear..! All smiles at this beautiful lake! The first thing that shocked me when I started planning my road trip through the Dolomites was have BIG it is, and more importantly how long it takes to get between places. Some destinations look so close on the map, but take forever to get to due to crazy winding, curvy mountain roads. ⁣ ⁣ Our 1 hour drive to Lago di Braies from Cortina D’Ampezzo was definitely worth it though! You can rent the boats for either 30 mins or an hour.
