The view from‭ ‬just above Wenwu temple‭, ‬with the temple’s orange roofs in the foreground and lake in the background‭, ‬is the most iconic‭ ‬view of Sun Moon Lake‭. From this skywalk vantage point you can see Mt. Hehuan, Mt. Qilai, Mt. Nenggao and Mt. Andongjun stretching into the distance. Mt. Qilai rises in Ren’ai township of Nantou County, on the boundary with Hualien County. Around the Moon side of the lake it started to rain heavily so I burned it back to Shuishan for around 2pm and called it a day for today. I will return tomorrow to finish off. My impressions though? Hmmm, I think I built it up too much in my head and was left a little disappointed. The weather sucked, the natural light was non-existent for much of the day, my photography sucked. It was a sucky day ..... Biking is fun though, the trails are cool and stuff. On a good, bright, sunny day it would be beautiful but today it just lacked something?
