There’s a new shawl in town, and the construction and colors are so fun and fantastic that I’m happy dancing every time I squish it ✨ It’s called Square Route (rhymes with Groot) because you know I love a good pun, and works up beautifully in @labienaimee ‘s merino singles. The pattern will be released in a little over 2 weeks—just in time for vacation knitting which is great because the project is super portable (much more portable than you’d expect for a shawl of its size).

My “hey girl you need to take one day off” turned into “hey girl you need to take 4 days off” some parts of being your own boss is rough and then there are other parts that are just so amazing.. I was able to finish my #penguono this morning!! Now all I need to do is weave in ends (oh so many, many ends.. ) and block it.. so I’ll see that finished in like a year from now.. buuuttt back onto my #navellitee and I’m so happy with my choice to use Guava Lane for the main body.. i have the perfect shift dress to wear with it and that’s my motivation to get through all this stockinette stitch. Keep on knitting, keep on knitting. Counting my blessings this morning, waking up energised and feeling happy. My little brother stayed over last night, I say little but he is a grown man Haha I appreciate the bonds me and my siblings have, I'm grateful my children see it and will learn from it and I hope they will grow strong like we did.
