In Russia marshrutka rides you So we have a mini-bus called Marshrutka (from the word маршрут-route) which many Russians use to go to work and travel around the city What about you? How do you go to work? You can start your answer with: я езжу на работу на трамвае/автобусе/машине... или может - вы ходите на работу пешком #learnrussian #russianlanguage #learningrussian #studyrussian #russian
Personal pronouns in my favorite case - Dative! Dative operates with the questions „кому?/чему?“ which has meaning to whom/to what (at least according to my logic ) I hope this post will help you with perfecting your Russian As always: feel free to comment below your examples (so I can correct them if you want me to) ❤️ #learnrussian #russianlanguage #russian #learningrussian

Hi! Today we’ll have one more Russian lesson. It is unusual. Ready?

If you want to understand russian people well, you need to learn some sayings - proverbs. People of our country like them and often use in their speech. So you have to know their meaning, ‘cos it’s rather difficult to guess. But don’t be afraid, it is really interesting.
⠀
Let’s explore the use of 3 popular russian proverbs!
⠀
1) Без труда не вытащишь рыбку из пруда. [Bes tru’da ne ‘vytashhish ‘rybku iz pru’da]
Literal translation: You cannot reel out fish from the pond without making an effort
Explanation: Not a single task can be done without putting some work and effort into it.
⠀
2) Губа не дура. [Gu’ba nʲˈe ‘dura.]
Literal translation: Lips are not stupid.
