I went to a store to buy glasses for style reasons. A vision test revealed I actually needed some, even though I never noticed any problems before. Now I can see sharper and am shocked that I did not notice how blurred everything was without the glasses. How blind I was to being blind. "The brain is a flawed lens through which to see reality. This is true of both mouse brains and human brains. But a human brain is a flawed lens that can understand its own flaws—its systematic errors, its biases—and apply second-order corrections to them. This, in practice, makes the lens far more powerful. Not perfect, but far more powerful." - Eliezer Yudkowsky

Without values, there would be no order, and no beauty within our lives. That's why we need justice, respect, responsibility, human rights, ethics and, above all, #Love. According to the Ancient Greeks, there are seven types of love.

"A map is not the territory it represents, but, if correct, it has a similar structure to the territory, which accounts for its usefulness." — Alfred Korzybski, Science and Sanity, p. 58.
The map–territory relation describes the relationship between an object and a representation of that object, as in the relation between a geographical territory and a map of it. Polish-American scientist and philosopher Alfred Korzybski remarked that "the map is not the territory" and that "the word is not the thing", encapsulating his view that an abstractionderived from something, or a reaction to it, is not the thing itself. Korzybski held that many people do confuse maps with territories, that is, confuse models of reality with reality itself. The relationship has also been expressed in other terms, such as Alan Watts's "The menu is not the meal." >
You don't change the territory by changing your map and the territory is a certain way whether or not it is reflected in your model the same way.
