This quote is so on spot right now! Never have people been more aware of their footprint on this planet, including myself. . It is so important to understand the consequences of creating piles and piles of waste. The clothes you buy, who made them and what impacts on the planet did they have? The food you by, where did it come from? The plastic you consume can’t be degraded and all plastic that has ever been made are still on this planet in some form (much of it is in the ocean). . I know this might sound daunting and scary, but we have to take a good look at our own consumption to see if there’s anything that we can do/change to help the planet. However, there’s only so much that an individual can do. We also need to pressure governments and companies to make changes! This is why I’m voting in the European Elections this week - for a greener and more accepting Europe ❤️ . I made a video a few months ago where I collected all my rubbish during one week. Going to miss this little kitchen. . Peep the two kinds of soaps we have. One is a DIY foamy dish soap I put in the blog (that my bf like more). The other is a simple bar of soap that’s extremely effective despite its simplicity (my favorite because im lazy). . The dishes drying also sum up my purchasing decisions nicely. The wooden bowl and yellow Pyrex are from the thrift stores, and the ceramic one is a handmade piece from a local artist. I choose where to spend my money carefully. Thrift stores are always cheaper and prevent useful things from ending up in the landfill, but sometimes I am willingly to shell out the $$$ to support a small store, local artist, or a company that aligns with my values. It’s all about balance in my budget.

С помощью подобных действий тема экологии становится более заметной, формируется интерес к переработке. Тут даже пресловутому H&M , с его политикой "эко-устойчивой" компании, нужно отдать должное. ⠀ Но для тех, кто уже применяет принципы #zerowaste в жизни, проблема поиска ответственной компании очень актуальна. ⠀ Как определить добросовестного оператора вывоза? ⠀ Изучите сетку раздельного сбора на предмет подробной инструкции по сдаче и контактов организации. Если таковых не имеется - это первый звоночек безответственности оператора. ⠀ Проверьте, имеется ли точка сбора на карте recycle.map (пункт неточный, потому как на портале собраны в основном известные компании) и какие отзывы на неё. ⠀ ♻️ Осмотрите содержимое сетки - оно должно соответствовать инструкции. Также, по внешнему виду точки сбора, можно определить частоту вывоза и то, как за ней ухаживают. ⠀ Изучите информацию на сайте компании. Здесь также должны быть указаны контакты данного оператора и организаций по переработке. ⠀ Компания должна открыто идти на диалог. Напишите письмо или позвоните по указанным данным.
