Frühstück: Sandwiches ; GoldenToast belegt mit Hähnchenbrustaufschnitt, Salat, Gurke und WW Butter
Mittagessen: Mediterraner Nudelsalat (Rezept unter meinem Hashtag ‚Rezeptemitmalina‘)
Snacks: Paprika + Tomaten + Apfel + Joghurt mit Müsli (Erdbeere Limette von Mymuesli) + Risbellis (VanilleKokos) Für die WW-ler: 16 SP für alles.

When people ask me if I eat the same thing every day when I meal prep

♀️The truth? I never eat the same exact thing 2 days in a row and I haven’t in years! I only eat the same meal 3x at most, and now that I prep for two people, it’s never more than 2x. And when it’s a GOOD meal, I actually look forward to eating it again!

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Meal dEats: •1 lb chicken thighs •8 oz chow mein noodles • Veggies (we used 10 oz/4 cups shredded cabbage + 2 cups shredded carrots + 3 cups bean sprouts + 2 celery stalks + 2 garlic cloves, minced + 2 tsp freshly grated ginger •sauce (1/3 cup reduced sodium soy sauce + 1 tbsp fish sauce + 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil + 3/4 tbsp sugar)⠀

⠀⠀ Directions: Whisk together sauce ingredients; set aside. Chop veggies and set aside. In a large pot or wok, cook chicken thighs until done; remove and let rest 5 minutes before slicing. Add veggies to pot and cook until tender. While veggies cook, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook noodles. Add sauce, sliced chicken, and noodles to veggies and toss to combine. Garnish with green onions and enjoy!⠀

Breakfast: blueberry lemon pancakes (soooo fluffy!!)

Meal option 1: curried chickpea and spinach wraps. I know you can’t see the inside but I just ate one and OMG. So good!!
.
Meal option 2: summer veggie Greek bowls with Israeli couscous with a lemon herb dressing on the side (this recipe is already in the WWL Program but I’m updating it!)
.
Meal option 3: basic beef stir fry with broccoli, carrots, bell pepper and rice
.
Meal option 4: Thai-inspired turmeric tofu & sweet potato bowls with zucchini, spinach, basil, scallion, lime and toasted nuts (I randomly created this on a whim, not exactly sure what to name it yet but it’s SO good)
.
What a spread amirite?! I’m so proud of this one and it was FUN to make!

MORE DETAILS: all meals will be stored in the fridge. Some are no-reheat, some will be reheated in the microwave. We will eat them all by Wednesday night! Groceries cost me $50 this time around. I have no clue what the calories are because I don’t count and don’t encourage calorie counting.

What stage of meal prep are you in?

STAGE ONE
1️⃣Shitty batch cooking that takes forever to make. You take two bites of the meal, throw it out and run to Au Bon Pain to get something else. In this pic I botched the zoodles (toooo soggy) and the sweet potatoes (undercooked) and the salmon was quite flavorless even though I tried a mustard glaze.

STAGE TWO
2️⃣You’ve nailed the basics and can cook what you know confidently, but wouldn’t call yourself a good cook yet. Meal prep starts to be more manageable (and fun). Here I’ve got a burrito bowl, one of the first preps I ever mastered.

STAGE THREE
3️⃣Comfortable enough with cooking to try new things. Your food generally tastes good every time! At this point you have fun cooking because you’re good at it. This photo is the first time I ever cooked with tempeh. As you can see, I also got better at making sweet potatoes.

STAGE FOUR
4️⃣Master of meal prep! You probably don’t need to read recipes at this point. You can follow your taste buds instead. In the photo is my Sriracha honey chicken bowls with green peppers and couscous. This meal was created solely on my taste instincts and was a huge hit in the WWL Program.
.
No matter where you are in your journey, I want you to keep going. If you’re not a good cook yet, practice fixes that. And if you’re a good cook now, you can still get better (and faster) from here!
