a variation of my last video, this time using square knots instead of spiral ones! I Love this technique to add color to my creations ✨ simply start with a square knot then add a color rope for the next one and keep switching the ropes every knot. Happy almost-friyay guys (can’t wait for the weekend, I’m exhausted )

The double spiral knot! This is a good one when you wanna add some color to your projects! it would look amazing on a plant hanger or keychain... the ends/fringes of a wall hanging? ♀️ there’s many uses for it so I thought it might be an useful to post... pretty easy to do, same as a spiral knot, just add one more rope (color) and switch them between every knot. Happy knotting and happy sunday everyone!✨.

SHAPES
Last little sneak peek of my new mini series focusing on shapes! The first video will be released on my YouTube Channel next Monday!
A few days back I showed you how to attach a ring to your work using double half hitch knots. Here’s part 2 of that video - of course you don’t need to attach the rope to the bottom of the ring, completely up to you!
In this video I cross the rope and then attach using double half hitch knots for a fun look.
Happy Thursday! ❤️
It's #tutorialtuesday again!

Today we're learning the Square Knot and the Half Square Spiral Knot.
1.) To do a singular square knot, simply alternate the stings you start tying the over under knot with.
2.) To create a spiral pattern, always start with the same side when tying the next knot until you reached the desired length of your spiral.
3.) To create a straight Square Knot Strand, be sure to alternate the strings you continue the knot with.
FUN FACT :
In Germany we sign the number '2' with our thumb and pointer. Compared to people that grow up in the USA , which show it with the index and middle finger. I am still used to doing it that way it was so interesting to learn how cultures differ even in little ways like this.
I would love to know from you: How do you show the number 2 with your hands and which country are you from
Happy #timelapsetuesday⏳ !! This is an old one from last year - macrame feather keychains!! ☺️
Check out my story highlights under “Feathers” to check out my process. I used Krylon Spray Adhesive to add a little structure to the feathers (& prevent them from loosing their shape).
P.S. I used to film my videos as time lapse videos on my phone (now I film them on my camera & speed them up). For this video I thought it would be fun to add a at the end. I had to hold that pose for about a minute so that it would show up
Another video today because, well, it’s #timelapsetuesday⏳ !!
This is my very first video!! I’ve since improved my videos but I thought it was appropriate to repost this week as it’s a topic I’ll be talking about in my Instagram Growth & Engagement Video (coming next Monday, May 13th) for my one year with Lots of Knots Canada! ☺️
Videos were a game changer for my growth & engagement! I’ll discuss this topic in detail in Monday’s video!
Happy #timelapsetuesday⏳ ❤️
P.S. There’s a tutorial in real time for this wall hanging on my YouTube channel! (Link in bio)
