✨ ✨ If you have attended my classes this week you would of heard me talking about the Root Chakra-Mūlādhāra. The chakra of stability, security, and our basic needs. The root chakra is comprised of whatever grounds you to stability in your life. This includes your basic needs such as food, water, shelter, safety, as well as your emotional needs of interconnection, and being fearless. When these needs are met, you feel grounded and safe. These energies help us to feel connected to the Earth, giving us a place for our life to ‘take root’ and for the flow of energies to propel us forward on our life journey. The location of this chakra is the first three vertebrae at the base of the spine. The Mūlādhāra is also the most dense of the seven chakras.  The main color of this chakra is red. Red is the slowest of all the wavelengths within the visible spectrum, yet, it is the most stimulating color.  It pulls the retina forward so all of our energy and attention is focused outward.✨ What is your favourite way to ground yourself?✨

Celebrating World meditation day. A moment to appreciate the moment (and the amazing view) on top of a mountain in Lofoten after a fun hike. Meditation can be done everywhere - it does not have to be practiced in a special seated position or with the eyes closed. I love taking a breather throughout the day. Every day. Feeling all the cells in my body, my hands, my inner energy field. One of my favorites are to hold my breath when driving through tunnels. Es gibt einen Ort in dir der immer in Ruhe verweilt. Wo immer Frieden herrscht. Ein weiter offener Raum. Wo pures Gewahrsein wohnt. Die Praxis der Meditation rückverbindet uns mit diesem Ort Schenke dir täglich diese Zeit für dich, still zu werden, die Augen zu schließen und einfach mit dir selbst zu sein. Verbinde dich mit dem Teil in dir, der immer still ist, beobachtend, unveränderlich. Dein unendliches Ich. Im Yoga nennen wir diesen Teil purusha, reines Bewusstsein, oder auch unsere Seele. Meditation ist der Mut dich einfach mal hin zusetzen, Still zu werden und in deine inneren Weiten zu lauschen. Was hörst du da? Was fühlst du da? Meditation muss nicht schwierig sein, es kann so einfach sein. Schließe gleich jetzt nur für 1 min die Augen, spüre deinen Körper, deine Atmung und werde dir deiner Selbst bewusst. Verweile nur 1 min in Stille. Diese simple Praxis von 1 min der Stille ist super kraftvoll.Probier es aus! There is a place inside of you that is always at rest. Where there is always peace. A wide open space. A vast sky. Where you can rest in the presence of your own awareness. The practice of Meditation reconnects us with that place Take some time daily to become still, close your eyes and just be present with your own self. And reconnect to the one inside of you who is always still, observing, the unchanging you. The eternal you. In yoga we call that One purusha. Meditation is the courage of you to sit down and listen within. Meditation doesn’t need to be hard, it can be as simple as that ☺️ Try to close your eyes just for 1 min and stay in silence.
