The lookout where this photo was taken is called "Balcone d'Italia (Balcony of Italy) and is located on Mte. Sighignola right on the border between the Italian region of Lombardy and the Swiss canton of Ticino - to the point that some parts of the lookout are in Switzerland (you can tell by the flag) and some in Italy.
