I want to share with you how effective swapping to a more sustainable product is when it’s time to replace. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’m about a year and a half into my journey to less waste, each of these items I’ve swapped from a plastic or disposable item when the time came. Each and every small change amounts to something amazing; don’t get disheartened if you have the odd slip and you need to buy a bottle of water whilst out or that coffee to start your hard day! As long as you carry on with your journey after ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ There are people out there who say one person can not make an impact...✋I beg to differ!! my journey alone has saved the use and disposal of: ⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣1560 pieces of cling film/ plastic food bags⁣ 450 plastic face wipes⁣ 390 sheets of kitchen roll⁣ 342 disposable sanitary pads ⁣ 302 single use water/pop bottles⁣ 208 plastic loose produce bags ⁣ 74 plastic crisp bags ⁣ 90 plastic straws ⁣ 38 plastic kitchen sponges ⁣ 16 shampoo bottles ⁣ 8 conditioner bottles. ⁣ 6 disposable razors⁣ 2 toothpaste tubes (still trying here) ⁣ 2 toothbrushes (still testing) ⁣ ⁣ This equals a whopping 3️⃣4️⃣8️⃣8️⃣ items in 1.5 years from one persons changes alone. This is without taking into account the change in my food habits. ⁣ ⁣ So yes, I believe one person truly CAN make a difference ⁣ ⁣⁣ If you have any questions on where I got any of these items please comment.
