I due concepiscono e producono mondi surreali tramite composizioni di fotografia “messa in scena”. Le materie prime sono tessuti, oggetti di scena e strumenti; la struttura artificiale, con collegamenti, attrezzature, macchine da fumo e luce, viene spesso resa trasparente i bordi dell'immagine, rinforzando il messaggio con il ritocco digitale. Jojakim Cortis and Adrian Sonderegger began collaborating during their photography studies at the Zurich University of Arts (ZHDK) in 2005. The two conceive and manufacture surreal worlds in compositions of “staged” photography. Raw materials are fabrics, props and tools; the artificial structure, with linkage, equipment, smoke and light machines, is often made transparent at the edges of the image, reinforcing the message with digital retouching.
