It’s been 1 month since we’ve moved & ya girl just started a job at a place you’d NEVER GUESS. A Funeral Home (it’s like a Ministry & I’m actually loving it)! Y’all, this new little in-between season we are in right now has been such a blessing. ⠀ NOT because it’s perfect, complete with answers or security or anything like we thought our next season would look like.⠀ ⠀ But here’s what I’ve learned: surrender = the greatest moments of satisfaction. Because sometimes the Lord is going to call us to places & situations that don’t make sense- but He is actually ALL over it. ⠀ ⠀ And if we are willing to surrender what we don’t understand & nestle in to where He has us, then we will actually find that the fullness of God (& then deep joy) is right in front of us. Because fulfillment isn’t meant to be found in a life that is comfortable, easy or successful. It’s only found in Him- ⠀ ⠀ And WHEREVER you are, whatever you’re doing- I believe God wants to teach you how to encounter Him there and live in a purpose that is greater than you. ⠀ ⠀ So, “may we bring our unknowing into the kind presence of God” & let Him move in us tonight. Because friends- when we take things into our own hands, whatever those things are will end up mastering us. But surrender is what will bring freedom. ⠀ ⠀ >> So what do you surrender to him tonight? What do you need to lean into instead of try to fix or change? Let’s do it together.
