In the mirror we are our most raw and vulnerable selves. So why do we nit pick in it and use it as an opportunity to bring ourselves down? Change. That. Conversation. ***********
The mirror is my place to raise myself UP. I started mirror talk years back. I would stare myself down in the mirror and compliment or motivate myself. "I am beautiful." "I am strong." "I CAN do this." Even when I didn't feel it, I would say it. And what happened when I started doing so? I started T H R I V I N G. We are WAY too hard on ourselves!! We ARE who we tell ourselves we CAN be and ARE!
