Read on.⠀ ⠀ MLMs are those random people messaging you about hair products, fitness shakes, or at one point, a Japanese water filtration system(?) ⠀ ⠀ I can’t stand when people act like they’re just asking about my life, and then pitch their product to me 2 minutes later. ⠀ ⠀ So here’s the secret to selling a bunch and doing it smoothly:⠀ ⠀ 1️⃣ BRAND YOURSELF⠀ ⠀ You gotta stand out from the rest of the crowd, bbgirl.⠀ ⠀ Ex: I know 10+ girls selling this one hair system. If I decided I wanted to buy some, how would I go about choosing one of them? ⠀ ⠀ I wouldn’t. ⠀ ⠀ I would probably just go to their website and see if purchasing from there is an option, and if not, I’d go with the first one that popped up on my stories (but NOT my DMs. I refuse.)⠀ ⠀ 2️⃣ CREATE A SITE FOR IT⠀ ⠀ At the very least, a sales page. You can do this using LeadPages or even Wordpress. ⠀ ⠀ I’d take it one step further and create a blog. You can go to adventurersanon.com/blog for a step-by-step guide. ⠀ ⠀ We TRUST people who educate us. It makes them seem like they have authority. ⠀ ⠀ If you’re blogging about hair care tips every week, yah, I’ll probably start to trust you ‍♀️⠀ ⠀ 3️⃣ DIVERSIFY⠀ ⠀ Share other things you love, not just what you’re selling. Act more like an influencer, and share other products you’re using or really into. ⠀ ⠀ Maybe something complementary, like skincare to our haircare example. That way I know you’re not a robot just trying to sell me something.⠀ ⠀ 4️⃣ CLIENT DISCOVERY⠀ ⠀ Find people who might ACTUALLY be interested in joining your team. You’re a marketer. Act like it. ⠀ ⠀ Hop into relevant Fb groups. Join an entrepreneurship club. Search relevant hashtags on IG. Actually do the work, and think creatively.⠀ ⠀ ❌ Bonus: What I wouldn’t do = slide into DMs of girls I knew in high school, college, or just seem like they COULD be interested with ZERO context or proof. Stop that.⠀ ⠀ #MMFA. That’s make MLMs fun again.

"Thierry Mugler Couturissime" on view at the Musée des Beaux-Arts Montréal, from March 2nd until September 8th.⠀ The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is presenting the very first exhibition on the work of French creator Thierry Mugler. Initiated, produced and circulated by the MMFA, this retrospective reveals the multiple worlds of this irrepressible artistic figure – at once visionary couturier, director, photographer and perfumer – by revisiting his prêt-à-porter and haute couture creations. Thierry Mugler: Couturissime brings together more than 140 garments made between 1973 and 2001, most of which are being shown for the first time, as well as a wealth of unpublished archival documents and sketches. One hundred or so photographs by such world-renowned fashion photographers as Helmut Newton, Sarah Moon, Pierre et Gilles, David LaChapelle, Paolo Roversi, Herb Ritts, Dominique Issermann, Guy Bourdin and Richard Avedon, to name a few, round out the show. Each of the immersive galleries has been designed in collaboration with talented artist-designers and set designers, including Michel Lemieux, Philipp Fürhofer and Rodeo FX.
