The grace of the Holy Spirit which is given mystically to every Christian when he is baptized acts and is manifested in proportion to our obedience to the commandments of the Lord. That is, if a Christian obeys the commandments of the Lord more, grace acts with him more, while if he obeys them less, grace acts within him less. Just as a spark, when covered in the ashes of fire becomes increasingly manifest as one removes the ashes, and the more fire wood you put the more the fire burns, so the grace that has been given to every Christian through Holy Baptism is hidden in the heart and covered up by the passions and sins, and the more a man acts in accordance with the commandments of Christ, the more he is cleansed of the passions and the more the fire of Divine grace lights in his heart, illumines and deifies him. + St. Nikodemos of the Holy Mountain, Christian Morality

| APA: We'd Like To Teach the World to Swing |
.
Just when you think you've heard it all, the American Psychological Association (APA) decides this: Monogamy is the new bigotry. That's right. According to the supposed "mental health experts," open marriages are the tolerant approach to intimacy. And they've launched a task force to prove it to the world.
.
According to the APA's official description of this initiative, "Finding love and/or sexual intimacy is a central part of most people's life experience. However, the ability to engage in desired intimacy without social and medical stigmatization is not a liberty for all." People who practice "consensual non-monogamy," as they call it, are unduly "marginalized," and it's time, the APA argues, to promote "awareness and inclusivity" for people who practice "polyamory, open relationships, swinging, relationship anarchy and other types of ethical, non-monogamous relationships."
.
Well, the APA may call these open relationships "ethical," but the American people sure don't. In Gallup's latest survey on moral acceptability, it's hard to find a behavior more universally frowned upon than adultery or polygamy. Only nine percent of the country agrees with the APA that fidelity is somehow narrow-minded or passé. The multiple-spouse relationship has mildly more support at 18%.
.
FRC's Cathy Ruse, who -- like most -- thinks the APA has long been off the rails for some time, can't believe the organization is fighting to give swingers "protected legal status." And they're supposed to be the psychologically healthy ones! Keep in mind, she points out, "the American Psychological Association is a professional guild. When it makes a controversial decision, like this one, that decision is not made by a vote of its 100,000+ members (which include "educators" and "students," according to Wikipedia). No, it is made by small numbers of powerful activists, who have sought out places of influence, like task forces."

"They measured the willingness of study participants, men from a diverse range of occupations with varying levels of education, to obey an authority figure who instructed them to perform acts conflicting with their personal conscience. Participants were led to believe that they were assisting an unrelated experiment, in which they had to administer electric shocks to a "learner." These fake electric shocks gradually increased to levels that would have been fatal had they been real".[2]...
It reminds of something else; "people are only as good as the world allows them to be"

Is morality overrated in sales?
Our sense of morality is something that develops when we grow up. According to the moralities and experiences that we are exposed, we develop our own understanding of what is right and what is wrong. As such, there may be misunderstandings between people because what we believe in may be different. But that doesn't necessarily mean that one is right and the other is wrong. -
Whether something is right or wrong depends on how we can live it. If there is no problem for ourselves and our conscience is not feeling any issues, then it should right. Yet, what is right or wrong can only be judged in a court of law. Despite so, whatever it is that you are selling, it would be ideal if you actually believe in it, and don't think it can negatively affect anyone. -
The reason why you have to believe in what you are selling, is that the prospect will mirror your feelings. If you can't show your belief in what your selling, the prospect will feel compelled to not buy what you're offering. The easiest way to believe in what your selling is for your sense of morality to be free any wrongdoings the products may bring onto the prospect.
