On our honeymoon Nick and I were sitting at Disney World eating a Mickey shaped pretzel and I told him I had another crazy idea- I say another because our wedding planning was full of “I have a crazy idea, but what if..” . . Anyway, I told him that I wanted our photographer to print every. single. photo. in our album so that we could hold them in our hands for the first time we went through them. We’re talking 1,100+ photos. Just a lil crazy. . . So she did it and returned them to us yesterday and I can’t even explain how cool it is that our whole wedding day is sitting physically before us in a lil black box. We went through every photo and really looked at each one. Not just kind of scrolled by them, but picked them all up, ran our fingers over them, + reminisced on the emotions of the day. . . I just imagine my great-grandchildren finding this box tucked away in an attic someday and thumbing through each photo. I just got chills even thinking about that! There’s something about a printed photo that digital media can’t come close to replicating. I love it! . . June 13, 2019 really was the best Thursday ever. All the crazy ideas (dinner before ceremony, sunset ceremony, taking the first kiss photo from behind us - see last picture - and more) were exactly what we wanted and we wouldn’t change a thing. wedding day tip: hold your kiss up at the altar a lil extra long, feel free to kiss more than once too! helps your photographer get more than one framing and composition of the moment AND why not?!? UR MARRIED!! . wedding guest tip: wear colors in the wedding color scheme! it doesn’t do much other than help the photographer get better photos and feel just that much more aesthetically pleasing (also teal was NOT in this wedding but i guess these guys chatted before arriving)

They’d look up, but there’s a lot of cacti on this hill. PS we’re in Virginia this week! We are visiting some friends and the countryside is just incredible. I’m obsessed with trees and they’re everywhere! We’re going on cattle tour today and you know we’re excited about that.
