This was me trying out the dress to see how I looked. We hype the "wedding" and the "wedding dress" so much! Like what should be the color, what should be the accessories, this and that what not. And I have heard all my life that how special it is and how many shops you should search the dress for. Quick reveal which might be a shocker: I bought my wedding dress in one day. I had gone with my sisters to just look at the dresses and then I saw one, liked it, bought it. And no, it wasn't designer or super expensive. I thought of two things: 1. will I look good in this? 2. Is this thing worth investing so much time, money and efforts? I have always dreamt of my wedding (like any other girl) but as the whole thing started unfolding all I cared about was to be with the person I love. All these things took a backseat. And honestly, on the day, I hardly bothered about how I looked, whether I was looking good enough in the pictures (some of them are really scary, as I looked pissed because I was hungry and cranky) but I was so happy on the inside, like nothing mattered but that I was marrying someone I really love.
A lot of people are going to disagree to this, saying "but it happens only once" and "you shouldn't buy the first thing you see" or "you try to get the designer ones because when else are you going to spend the money?" I understand that, hell for a long time I wanted that, but this is just my story. A half crazy, cranky but a happy bride. (Another fun fact: you are not supposed to talk to the groom or even touch him unless the priest says so, but I just couldn't stop chattering! This lead to many death stares from the elders, but I had fun!)
Absolutely beautiful!
Congratulations to @janeesediane and @kxgeorge_ on their recent nuptials.

We’ve been keeping a REALLY big secret but we can finally let it out. Dublin is going to be a big brother!!!
.
I have literally dreamed my entire life of becoming a mother. And now that it’s happening I’m not sure it’s even really hit me yet. The beginning stages of pregnancy have all felt so surreal to me.
.
But this November we are expecting our family to grow, just in time for Santa to spoil our new addition to our fam. ❤️ For this moment we have waited and prayed and I’m so happy I can finally share it with the world!
.
We feel beyond blessed!

The look on his face when he saw me in my dress for the first time... priceless. Did you or could you keep your dress a secret before your wedding? Jake knew mine was red, but that was it. Everything else was a total surprise!! #firstlook #weddingwednesday #romance #love #groom #fijiwedding #bulabride #kokomoislandfiji #newlyweds
