This morning I had a conversation with a student about perfection. His view was that we should strive for perfection in our asana practice, having the perfect alignment or moving toward perfect alignment. We went back and forth on view points for a bit. I then left this conversation and went in to my own practice. I dedicated my practice to moving with grace and not perfection. To stepping back when I needed to, to going deeper when possible and to rest when my body needed to rest. Breathe .. stand back from the situation that is bothering you .. do whatever works for you but don’t react in the first instance.. we are beautiful story tellers so when we react we play into the drama of the situation ..which in turn causes us to let the ego right in .. this pulls us away from our natural state and we we react more to the situation ... step away be the observer .. nothing needs to be done because there is no where to go and there is nothing to do .. so whatever the issue is it can wait ❤️ #peace #harmony #relax #alliswell #noego
