Fuck mum guilt! Seriously mamas it’s time to stop feeling guilty. Guilty about about not being a whiz in the kitchen. Guilty for putting them into child care so you can catch up on work. Guilty for making any time for yourself. Guilty for losing your shit every now and then. ⁣⁣Guilty for giving them more screen time then you think you should. ⁣⁣ Enough is enough. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You’re doing your best with what you have. There is no rule book on how to be the perfect mother - in the grand scheme of things your child kind of chose you to learn the lessons he or she needs to in this life. They’re going to be fine if you make a hair appointment. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ They’re going to be fine if you put them into vacation care. They’re going to be fine if they eat that pizza. You’re doing a fabulous job, don’t let those voices in your head or anyone else tell you otherwise. ⁣⁣ ⁣ By taking care of your needs you are ultimately allowing yourself to be a better mother. A whole mother that can make time to be present for her kids instead of resenting them for chewing up all your time. Love them but don’t forget to love you too! ⁣ ⁣⁣ ps what gives you mum guilt? ‍♀️
