My plan was to capture milkyway that night and wrap up early by 21:00 and head to my work.⁣ ⁣ When i left from Sydney, the weather was looking great. When i almost reached location, clouds appeared out of no where.⁣ ⁣ So we had to change the plan. I went back to my work and my friend spend that night in his car. And the following morning as soon as i finished my work, we headed to Norah Head again. My friend was so tired that he couldn't able to join me for a walk. ⁣ ⁣ So i went by myself for a walk down the track. I set up my tripod, took camera out of the bag and then realised that I forgot SD card at home. What a shame isn't it? ⁣ ⁣ I have no other option rather than capturing with my mobile. I photographed this banksia on the walk to Norah Head lighthouse. This one was a difficult subject. The banksia was packed full of leaves- some curling, some encased in darkness and some exposed to bright sunlight. The flower was also half in shade. AW2. Name a more iconic duo, I’ll wait. This kid isn’t really a kid anymore. She’s 14 and has grown into a wonderful young human and best friend of mine. Finding someone who gets as excited as me when a dog walk by or loves to give presents before holidays occur (this is a major weakness of mine) because she’s so overjoyed with the thoughtful gift she picked out that why would you wait? She loves country music and blaring it in the car on our drives. She gets up with me to catch sunrises. Someone like this is pretty hard to find, but she’s it and I didn’t even get to choose her, she was part of the family package deal. With her homeschooling, she has a more flexible schedule to come on adventures with me during which our sisterly bond has magnified. We grew up in different countries, but our looks resembled each other’s early on, along with our personalities. We get mistaken for twins let alone having an eight year age gap between us. She’s my biggest supporter and knows just when I need that extra laugh throughout the day. She’s everything a younger sister could ever amount to and then so much more.
