I was inspired by my Associate Director, Ron Tay(Qin Rong) who was doing very well as an agent back then and it eventually motivates me to embark on this new career despite having to go through a challenging 2.5 years of further studies to qualify as an agent. Too often do we think that we’re the exception to the rule, but the fact of the matter is that anything can happen anytime to anyone, only that this time it took the shape of a hefty medical bill. I’m glad to have attended a recruitment event with @AIASingapore on 17 Apr to share the importance of having adequate insurance coverage. I was diagnosed with endometriosis few years back and had keyhole surgery to remove the cysts. I was in the midst of switching from a full-time to a self-employed artiste during that time and had overlooked my medical insurance coverage.
