Seriously!!! Why do we need to put qualifiers before “mom,” as if we need to explain ourselves for “working” or “staying home,” which doesn’t accurately describe either situation. Every mom “works,” sometimes we are paid for day work in addition to our home work. This is no less valid than what a man does, and we don’t need an extra qualifier to explain it. Motherhood is one hell of a balancing act!⁣ ⁣ Shoutout to all the moms working and dealing with mom guilt! I am the type of person who loves to take risks, ignore the doubters and prove the haters wrong! I remember when I told some folks I was going to make lamps and they laughed at me so I went and sold over 500 of them (and they weren’t cheap)... like clockwork, if someone doubts I can do something I take it as a challenge and love to prove them wrong because you truly can do anything you want in this world with a little grit and perseverance! ✌⁣ ⁣ Of course starting a side hustle can be intimidating. It’s strange, even in 2019 some folks judge mothers who work! Heck, I have shockingly seen it first hand from people I would never expect it from! For some reason some people will think your kids aren’t first when in doubt you are working for your kids... for your family! (truth) Someone once said to me, “You have nothing to lose and all to gain by starting a business.. Right?” Ok maybe you will end up with some stuff in your garage depending on the business you want to open, but failing is not an option to this mama bear! Not taking a chance... also not an option! All you need is strategy, commitment and your family unit on board! Ok maybe a glass of Rose’ too! It took me five long years to figure out how to work less and thankfully I am now there! ⁣and by the way, G O A T stands for Greatest Of All Time!
