It ain’t too fancy, but the food at @yellowelephanteatery is
I’ve eaten here several times & definitely prefer some menu items to others, but I am really happy with the quality overall. Pictured: spicy steamed wontons with pork, shrimp + scallions. Homemade chili oil on top careful: it’s reeeeal spicy. Also pictured is the house fried rice with steak + shrimp super tasty
Other great items I’ve enjoyed: Lao eggrolls (veggie > chicken), pork belly buns (if you like your pork belly nice n’ crisp, these will suit you greatly) I also really like the Panang red curry
Fun fact: for the longest time I wanted a tiny elephant tattoo behind my ear because elephants are my spirit animal. Happy eating! Let me know if you give it a try
Stop and smell the bagels

✈️WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU TRAVELLED?✈️
…WITHOUT the stress of:
“how am I going to stay on track with my eating?”
“will they have healthy options available?”
“maybe I should just bring my own food”
“will I be able to work out there?”
“I need to tone up before we leave”
For one of my clients, this was the main struggle she came to me with, part of her WHY for why she knew she needed to change.
When we first began working together, she mentioned how important it was to her to be able to enjoy vacations with her family and friends instead of stressing about:
❌Binging on the food there
❌Healthy food options
❌Where she’ll be able to work out
❌Being in her bikini
& the list goes on…
✨She wanted so bad to be able to ENJOY her time & be fully present✨
Sound familiar⁉️
It all felt impossible for her at first, but as we unpacked all of the fears and beliefs that were holding her back, she was able to uncover and embrace a new refreshed version of herself that allowed her to have:
✅Freedom from her food rules
✅Trust in her body to know what, when & how much to eat (no more worrying out being out of control on vacay)
✅The ability to cope with her emotions outside of using food
✅Confidence that radiates through every room she enters
& because of all of this she’s been able to spend the majority of her summer at her cottage, on the beach, out with friends & OVERSEAS✈️
Like what⁉️
All things she didn’t believe would be possible for her at first!
If you’re dying to be able to travel with ease or have something in mind that you’d LOVE to do or experience but keep holding back because of your struggles with having to micromanage your food and your body, YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.
I would love to show you how to break free from everything that is currently holding you back and be able to do that thing you’ve been dying to do, whatever it may be!

I SAY THIS WITH LOVE
because I want the best for you and KNOW that being healthy doesn’t have to come at the expense of any of these things…
In fact, every item on the list is super valuable to our overall health...
Somewhere along the lines, we shove many of these things aside in pursuit of what we think we have to do to be healthy (AKA hit the gym and eat certain foods)
There is no doubt that nutrition and regular movement is important to our health but it’s important to understand that ☝✨
As you read through this list, be honest with yourself and question if you’ve been putting any of it at stake in your pursuit to live your “healthy lifestyle”...
If so, it’s time to take a step back and reconsider your overall health and how you can begin to nurture the parts of it you’ve been neglecting.
COMMENT BELOW & LET ME KNOW WHAT ELSE WE CAN ADD TO THIS LIST ⬇️
Let’s get a thread going with tons of other important areas to consider!
SAVE THIS POST for when you fear others think you “let yourself go”
This was one of the #1 things that held me back on my journey to healing my relationship with food and my body...
I was scared people would think:
❌I “gave up”
❌“lost myself”
❌wasn’t “into fitness”
or that I didn’t eat healthy anymore
Once I took a step back and realized that I was actually making changes to TAKE BETTER CARE OF MYSELF and acknowledged the truth in that I was letting go of a bunch of other BS in order to do so….the game changed!
I wasn’t letting myself go.
I still loved to lift weights ♂️, do yoga ♀️eat nutritious foods AND was taking better care of myself than I had in a very long time.
So what if I ate a donut, took a few rest days and my body changed in the process? That didn’t mean a damn thing.
I knew in my ❤️ that the changes I made were for the better.
I no longer had to live as a slave to the unrealistic body or lifestyle goals I once had.
If you’re struggling with this and fear this type of judgement, remind yourself of all the things you’re ACTUALLY letting go of on this journey and how much peace it’s going to bring you!
Hit me with a below if you’ve ever been faced with this ⬇️
I BET YOU HAVEN’T DONE THIS IN A WHILE
When we’re so hyper focused on food, exercise and our bodies, our mental health SUFFERS.
Our lives become full of stress, anxiety, guilt and shame as a result of basing days on whether or not we “stuck to the plan”
I’m sure you’ve heard this time and time again but mental health is JUST AS IMPORTANT as physical health.
❌One does not exist without the other ❌
What if, for this season, in order to fully heal and feel like a normal human again, you put everything else on the backburner?
What if you let go of the reigns on your meal plan/exercise regimen for now, in order to focus on healing your MENTAL HEALTH?
This is not to say you can never focus on your nutrition and physical fitness again but it’s important that you take the time you need to heal.
Come back to it later with a fresh lense and perspective♀️
What if taking the time to do this brings you to a place where you can finally:
✅Trust yourself around food, no matter what’s in your cupboard or on the table at the potluck...
✅Devote your energy to the things that matter to you in your life whether it be school work, your kids, your friends or your career…
✅Take that trip you’ve been dying to take but haven’t because of food and worry about how you’ll workout
✅Be able to move your body in a way that you want to, not because you HAVE to
& just feel truly FREE from the stress, anxiety and worry that you’ve battled with for so long
Would you be willing to make the shift then⁉️
Please believe me when I say that it’s possible for you to live a life free of feeling so overwhelmed by food and your body.
You CAN feel healthy without the obsession. It just might take some time and mental health healing first.
Comment “♀️“ below if you’re committed to focusing on your MENTAL HEALTH for this season☀️❄️
The payoff is worth it, I promise.
The reason behind such smile is just infront

“IT’S JUST TOO GOOD I CAN’T CONTROL MYSELF!”
.
“I can’t control myself around chips so I just abstain completely”
.
Raise your hand if you think that your “problem” is that you like food too much?
.
♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️
.
I used to think this too. So I GET this. I feel you here sister.
.
People used to always applaud me for my “self-control” but I would always tell them that I actually DIDN’T have any self-control so I just never allow myself to buy or have any of those foods.
.
But man when I “gave in” and got my hands on something “off-limits”... I went to TOWN. And then felt guilty, and shameful and overfull...and then started restricting again as soon as I could...all the while telling myself I’m an idiot and shouldn’t have let myself have that food...I’m such a failure...
.
Maybe this is your thought process now? Maybe you’re caught in this vicious cycle of restricting and rebelling and feeling shame.
.
If that’s you: I’ve got good news!
.
FOOD IS SUPPOSED TO BE PLEASURABLE.
.
IT’S SAFE TO EAT FOOD FOR EMOTIONAL REASONS.
.
SATISFACTION IN FOOD IS ACTUALLY A MAJOR KEY TO FOOD FREEDOM!
.
The simple thought that food is “too good” comes from the idea that you aren’t good ENOUGH.
.
So today, allow yourself some vitamin P (pleasure!). Allow yourself to experience pleasure with food.
.
BONUS: Find another way to experience pleasure in your day besides food!
.
You gotta build up that pleasure chest! Pleasure is not BAD or “naughty”. Pleasure is a very important key to your life. Allow it.
.
Tell me what food you find MOST PLEASURABLE to you!!!
