It felt a little weird to be slicing into my Green Man Picnic Pie, but boy was it delicious! Stuffed full of foraged spring veggies, cheese, and purple potato slices it was the perfect dish to share with my family for a celebration of spring. It was a really fun pie to make, too - so much opportunity for creative decoration! If you also want to try your hand at this naturally-colored showstopper, you can find the recipe on my blog (link in profile- just scroll down a little bit.) P.S. I'm going to share something extra special tomorrow, so be sure to check back! .

✨Connecting with inner-child and the importance. ✨
I feel like the importance of connecting with your inner-child isn’t emphasized enough. You’re view of the world and your foundation stems so much from childhood. The traumas and disassociation from childhood are the easiest to be suppressed and are often the hardest to resolve. Make time to connect, make time to heal, make time for change and better yourself. .

Painted egg babies!! I really love how these beauties turned out! However, the golden egg seems to think it’s TOO beautiful, and will not allow me capture it properly in a photo.. it’s so shiny (I promise that in person, it’s just as glorious as the other 3)! Each wooden egg has a cute bun, surrounded by magical foliage and a hint of sparkle✨ All four eggs, along with yesterday’s multipurpose moths, will be available in my Etsy tomorrow morning at 10am EST! Hope you love ‘em!!✨

Repost @szisszmok ··· The spring equinox is celebrated each year sometime around March 20-22. It is a day of balance, as the day and night hours are approximately the same length. The spring equinox is also a day of fertility and growth, marking our passage into the spring season.
The Spring Equinox delivers on nature’s promise: life will return. After all seemed dead & hopeless through winter, the life force is rising again.
The Spring Equinox is a festival of awakening, and rebirth.
You can read more about the Equinox at @theseasonalsoul 's blog and instagram!.

The onset of a Spring, and the celebration of Ostara from March 19-22, invites us to revitalize, begin again, shed what no longer serves us, and move forward on our path with a renewed sense of what’s important to us. What a perfect time of year to incorporate salt into our self-care rituals, to rejuvenate and freshen our skin and our beings, and clear away any negative energies. Here is the recipe for my favorite herbal bath salt that I use both in the tub and as a foot soak treat. Feel free to change it up to please yourself and incorporate ingredients that you already have on hand. It makes for a soothing, healing balm after a hard day’s work in the garden or a long foraging walk through the wood.

.
:
-1 cup epsom salt
-1/2 cup coarse sea salt or Himalayan pink salt
-4-5 TBSP dried herbs (I use rose petals, lavender buds, calendula petals, and mugwort which is great for sore muscles. Leave the mugwort out if you are pregnant).
-1 TBSP nourishing oil of choice (I use a wildcrafted dandelion blossom-infused olive oil, as it’s healing for the skin and soothing for tired, aching muscles. You could also use coconut, jojoba, or sweet almond oil).
-I choose not to use essential oils in this recipe, as I use them sparingly in my life because they are so concentrated and strong. You can add it if you want to, and 5 to 10 drops should do it.
:
-Combine dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
-Add oil and mix thoroughly.
-Place in an airtight jar.
-Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup to your bathwater, or 1 to 2 TBSP for a foot soak.✨
