This overlook wasn’t built when I was here in 2016, so all of my photos at Grand Prismatic were stinkers. Now this view is amazing! You park at the Fairy Falls trailhead which is either just before or after Grand Prismatic Springs, depending on which way you are driving. From there, you hike down the trail about a mile which is pretty flat, and once the trail splits, you go left. It’s about .25 mile up hill but it’s not too bad, and you get rewarded with this view. Also, several bison were next to the trail, just chilling. Disclaimer: This is an actual trail and overlook, as I personally, do not break the rules & go off of official trails at National Parks.
