Okay here’s a personal attack for all you people out there who say “you can just say that because you are strong”, or “You can say that because you are good at it”. No I’m DECENT at what I do now because I put in the time AND effort with a whole lot of sacrifice to get to this point. To prove my point, feast on your eyes on my “good at it technique” or “you’re just strong” strength . Comment if anyone has ever said this to you, or if you HAVE said that before (it’s okay ISLY)
Things DO NOT happen overnight. If you’re not willing to put in the time and be PATIENT as others have before you to “git gud” then you have no right to invalidate all the hard work ANYONE has ever done.
Yes I was snatching with a metal pipe axle thing ♀️ I had no barbells at the time. Those are my dads punching bags in the background, he does some martial arts.

I hate squats.
I spent a really long time (2-3 years) just figuring out how to squat properly because I suck at it and I was too egotistical to get advice. I tried everything from narrow squats, super wide stance squats ALA @howmuchibench, low bar etc.
Couple that with both of my knees having meniscus tears, minor acl tears on both knees and none of that nice tissue (bursae) fluid that sits in between the knee caps.
It sucked balls.
To be honest, the only way I was able to get better at squatting and to get rid of my pain was to just get stronger at squatting.
Lots of observing strong people squat ( @howmuchibench @australianstrengthcoach @farissenpai @tiny.stone.giant @mhdnaz @tiantao96kg ) etc the list could go on.
Here are some steps if you want to fix your squat (without as much hassle as possible) - 1. Find a coach
