Modeling does take a toll on me, I try entirely too hard to be “perfect”. I spend almost all my days off shooting, or gathering whatever I need for the next shoot. It’s a breath of fresh air to spend a day being spontaneous, and having fun. I am SO SO LUCKY to work with all the amazing photographers I do, honestly some of my best friends are photographers. I have experienced some of my favorite memories with them, but Lindsey especially pushed me to be myself, and to get out of my comfort zone. We spent the day being assholes, joking about our divorces, and taking photos of pretty much everything that came to mind. Be prepared for some education. . . . Several weeks back I made a remineralizing toothpaste based on a recipe I found from the WellnessMama blog. . . . Honestly, it was ok . . . I have a long way to go regarding flavor, and the texture was grittier. . . . While coconut oil and baking soda are said to whiten teeth, I did not brush twice a day, let alone after every meal to see amazing results. . . . . It took extra time and water to remedy it because the coconut oil solidified the batch. . . I know. Inspiring experience, right? . . . But I did enjoy that it lasted a long time. . . . I did appreciate knowing exactly every WHAT and WHY that was in it. . . . I did enjoy knowing I made it. . . . Enamel is the hard outer surface of your teeth. . . . The sub layer is called dentin, which naturally has a yellow-brown color. . . . If you lose enamel, your teeth will look more yellow because of the dentin exposure. . . . Enamel cannot come back. The reason is because enamel must be formed within an enclosed environment where the materials can be compacted and "pressured" together. . . . This is the process that happens before your teeth sprout through your gummies. . . . You can protect what you have, which increases your chances of stronger teeth and a whiter smile. . . . Encourage you to look into the possibilities of a remineralizing tooth-care, which can strength the enamel that you already have. . . .
