I like posting demo tips bc we all know how fast unexpected demo hours can eat up a budget !! If you run into this scenario, hopefully you’ll save a bit of time ... ——————————————————— The Scenario:
Cement board, covered with plaster and a layer of drywall, secured with a nail every 1/2”, and wire mesh (my personal favorite) ———————————————————
Go at this with the old hammer / bar and you’ll pull the ceiling down one spoonful at a time ———————————————————
Nothing fancy here, but a technique to consider:
