Before we headed out to have a fun day as a family yesterday, we got the news of the El Paso shooting. Jeremy is from El Paso and has family there so our hearts immediately sank until he got ahold of them to make sure they were okay. It truly makes you want to never leave the house again. We see this time and time again. Malls, schools, churches, events, movie theaters. It’s not fair to be worried about you and your children’s safety while out with your family at normal places like the grocery store. But this is the world we live in. Hug your loved ones a little tighter every day. Being a mama now and seeing these shootings truly gives me all the anxiety. Sending so much love to all the families affected by both of these tragedies ❤️
