... the summary gives you the easy basic on dice rolls. Whether you're rolling D4, D6, D8, D10, or D12, the Trait will tell you what kind of die to roll. Your aptitude (trait level) let's you know *how many* dice to roll. Your total is the highest die you rolled, plus any bonuses, and/or positive or negative modifiers. The highest number on any dice (a four for D4, six for D6, and so on) is called the Ace. Rolling aces allows you to roll the die again, and add it to the current roll (including the ace).
