I hope if you're reading this, it makes you smile. Off lately I've been experiencing various emotions, and since I portray myself to be a happy go lucky instagrammer, I dont want to shy away from sharing the reality too. Life is not always rainbows and butterflies, but they say, 'without rain, you cant see rainbows'. So here's a gentle reminder that if you're going through hard times in you life, it wont last. Stay strong. Stay positive. Good times are ahead of you. I gave a lot of thought about whether I should share a few lessons, but then i also realized if it hadn't been for someone who cared for me, I wouldnt have been writing this down anyway. So here goes! :: Your time is way more precious than those those who make you cry, insult your love, and pull you down. Even if they say, 'I want the best for you', and leave you hanging, learn to leave them hanging and dont go around seeking closures. Just let it go. They're NOT worthy of your time. :: Remember your ambitions and think about what you are yet to achieve. Are they contributing to that? Are they merely helping you grow? If you know the answer and it's a NO, they dont deserve a seat on your table. :: Even if they seemed a good human being, not everything works out the way you thought it would. You might not be in love but may just be in love with the idea of being in love. Identify the difference. :: Your reactions will speak louder than your heart and your emotions to those who judge. If someone left you hanging, barely said anything, didnt react much and came out looking as the goodie goodie, while you on the other hand came out as someone who reacts outrageously to situations only to be judged by your closest ones, its OKAY! Especially if they themselves have put you in that position in the first place. If they're judging your reactions more than your heart, you know you're in the wrong company. Mine isnt exactly beer, but during my visit to Amsterdam, I happened to visit the @heinekenexperience which is an attraction located at the Heinken's first ever built brewery in Amsterdam's city centre. In 1988, the brewery was closed due to the inability to meet the high demand. Nowadays, you can learn about Heineken's heritage, brewing process, innovations, sponsorships and what it takes to serve a star in a 1.5 hour self-guided tour.
