К сожалению,онлайн билеты можно купить только за день до посещения музея. Оценив,что очередь в Галерею меньше,чем в главное здание музея,выбор был очевиден ⠀ ⠀Так мы попали на выставку «Афишемания». Новый вид рекламы,который зародился во Франции и превратился в искусство. Даже сейчас многие коллекционеры охотятся за лучшими афишами и готовы отдавать за них любые деньги,поэтому пока есть возможность нужно посмотреть. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Этажами выше расположены постоянные выставки Галереи. This painting, which took three years to complete, was commissioned by the wealthy industrialist Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer, who made his money in the sugar industry. Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer favored the arts, especially Klimt, and commissioned him to complete another portrait of his wife Adele in 1912 (see the 2 picture). ⠀ Adele Bloch-Bauer was the only person to be painted twice by Klimt. This painting is perhaps most famous not for its artistic quality, but because of its scandalous history since inception. ⠀ Upon her death, Adele Bloch-Bauer wished the painting to be given to the Austrian State Gallery, but it was seized by advancing German forces in World War II. In 1945, Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer designated the paintings to be the property of his nephew and nieces, including Maria Altmann. Nonetheless, the Austrian government retained ownership of the painting, and was not returned to the Altmann family until 2006 after a long court battle. The painting was then sold at auction for $135 million dollars, which at that time was the highest price paid at auction for a painting. ⠀ Эта картина, которая заняла у Густава Климта три года, была заказана богатым промышленником Фердинандом Блох-Бауэром, который заработал свои деньги в сахарной промышленности. Félix Rey, a medical intern who cared for Van Gogh during his stay in the hospital at Arles, was not particularly fond of this portrait. He first relegated it to his attic, then allowed his mother to use it for patching a hole in her chicken coop. Paul Gauguin, Aha Oe Feii? 1892, oil on canvas, 66 cm × 89 cm, Pushkin Museum, Moscow. French painter, printmaker and sculptor Paul Gauguin, 1848-1903, spent a lifetime traveling to distant lands in search of a spiritual and primitive paradise. Believing that the key to unleashing his creativity was to be found in faraway places not yet corrupted by civilization, he travelled to ever more remote areas in Europe, the Caribbean, and Polynesia. But on arriving at each destination he discovered that the reality he encountered was very different from the paradise he had imagined. He had envisioned each new place as a sacred world where people lived simply, freely, and without inhibitions, but he instead found complex societies with their own difficult realities. Gauguin created his own sacred paintings and objects based on his understanding of ancient Tahitian myths and gods. He also searched for commonalities with other faiths and cultures, hoping to find underlying spiritual connections that he understood as the essence of humanity. Gauguin blends fact with fiction in his art that make it difficult to discern where reality ends and where his imaginary world begins. Gauguin influenced many avant-garde developments in the early 20th century. Aha Oe Feii? is based on a real-life episode during his stay on Tahiti which he later described in the diary Noa Noa: "On the shore two sisters are lying after bathing, in the graceful poses of resting animals; they speak of yesterday's love and tomorrow's conquests. The recollection causes them to quarrel, "What? Are you jealous?" Gauguin titled the painting in Tahitian language, Aha Oe Feii?, in the lower left corner of the canvas.
