A feeling of fear in itself is not a bad thing. It alerts us in a life threatening situation, that fight or flight thing we studied in school, yup that one. Fear is good to start our body’s defensive system and all.

People often develop phobias due to some disturbing past experiences. So try to get to the bottom of the fear. Because no matter how much calm coating you put.
If you don’t deal with the problem inside, it will keep coming back. One more thing and I know it’s too cliché but be a positive thinker when it comes to the object of your phobia. Try to calm yourself down while riding an elevator ,thinking that the elevator is going to fall will not help. Get rid of those irrational thoughts and know that life cannot be lived with fears .
