Since this was uninstalled recently, I thought I would post my piece "Cum-union" from the senior 8x8 showcase. For me, this piece was a pun on the phrase "Glory Hole," associating the experience of anonymous gay fellatio with the tradition of Catholic communion. However, it's intended to be interpreted in a variety of ways. I had a lot of fun putting it together, and seeing what people though of it. It is always such an honor to be part of @emilybabette ‘s work. This one we pulled inspiration from the idea of a 1920’s Berlin rent boy. Together over tea, we talked about the energy we wanted to channel and began by setting the mood for us by scenting the room in antique incense and playing vintage German records. I wore patchouly oil, something common for rent boys from the Victorian era all the way to the late 1920’s.
